ME News, April 26 (UTC+8), local time April 26: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its special forces have successfully destroyed three U.S. GBU-57 mega bunker-buster bombs and dismantled another one left behind in Iran’s Zanjan Province. The GBU-57 bunker-buster bomb (also known as a bunker bomb) is a heavy-duty bunker-busting bomb developed by the United States. The United States used this model of bomb in last year’s military operation targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, and it has also been used extensively in this year’s U.S.-Iran conflict.
