The Israeli military states it will continue to station troops in southern Lebanon.
On April 23rd local time, an Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson stated that during the ceasefire, the IDF will continue to station in southern Lebanon to respond to actions by Hezbollah in Lebanon. The IDF warned residents of southern Lebanon not to engage in activities in designated villages and surrounding areas until further notice, and to avoid approaching the Litani River and its surrounding regions.
