NextEra Energy (NEE) Hits a New High Following Strong Q1 Report

NextEra Energy (NEE) reached an all-time high after its Q1 2026 earnings report, posting an adjusted EPS of $1.09 and a 162% YoY profit surge. The company, the world’s most valuable utility, also recorded a record 4 GW of new renewable and storage projects, bringing its total backlog to 33 GW. NextEra Energy reaffirmed its adjusted EPS growth targets through 2035 and dividend growth targets through 2028.
