Iranian Foreign Ministry: U.S. "Keep changing positions" leading to failure to reach an agreement

ME News message: On April 14 (UTC+8), Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that the United States has repeatedly changed its demands during negotiations with Iran in Islamabad, which is why the two sides failed to reach an agreement. The ministry said that on the evening of the 12th, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi told French Foreign Minister Barron in a phone call that although Iran “completely distrusts” the U.S., it still participates in the talks in a responsible and good-faith manner and has made progress on multiple issues. However, due to the U.S.’s excessive demands and its continued changes to its requests, no agreement was ultimately reached. (Source: PANews)
