The "Trump Gold Card" project was approved for only one person, far below the previous expectation of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Gold Finance reports that on April 25th, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick stated at a congressional hearing that only one applicant has been approved for the “Gold Card” visa program launched by Trump. The program is seen as an alternative to the traditional EB-5 investment immigration plan, allowing foreigners to pay at least $1 million to legally reside and work in the United States, ultimately obtaining a path to citizenship.
Howard Lutnick previously stated that the Trump Gold Card program has sold quotas worth $1.3 billion and is expected to generate $10 trillion in revenue in the future to help alleviate the U.S. fiscal deficit. Although only one person has been officially approved so far, Howard Lutnick said that hundreds of applicants are still under review.
